Children and young people are a vital part of our church family. So providing age-appropriate activities is important in meeting the needs of the youngsters that come Sunday by Sunday. We have Family Worship at 10.30 am, after which the young people and children enjoy their own activities in small groups.
The activities help all to learn more about God and through Jesus Christ the relevance he has to our lives. We learn through our senses with activities such as dance, drama, craft, discussion, games and much, much more.
Each summer we host a Holiday Club for children to spend a few days of their holidays having a great deal of fun enjoying crafts, drama, songs and a variety of other imaginative and humorous entertainments while learning about God and the Bible. Each year has a different theme ranging from space-travel to spy-craft.
We also provide a crèche for under-fives.
All our staff have been through the Baptist Safe To Grow programme and the Criminal Records Bureau in the interest of child protection.
