Sunday Workshop
Children and young people are a vital part of our church family. So providing age-appropriate activities is important in meeting the needs of the youngsters that come Sunday by Sunday. We have a breakfast club starting at 10 am followed by Family Worship at 10.30 am, after which the young people and children enjoy their own activities in small groups.
The activities help all to learn more about God and through Jesus Christ the relevance he has to our lives. We learn through our senses with activities such as dance, drama, craft, discussion, games and much, much more.
We also provide a crèche for under-fives.
All our staff have been through the Baptist Safe To Grow programme and the Criminal Records Bureau in the interest of child protection.
Youth Ministry
This is a developing ministry with a Whole Church Approach enabling the church family to have an important and/or active role in the young people and children’s work.
The work is multifaceted, but here is a taster:
On Friday nights (fortnightly) there are activities in which Oblivion? for school year groups 6-8, and an older group for years 9-11, who as yet have no name, meet to discuss Christian issues in a creative way.
